Name :
Mouse Fc (IgG2a) Control Protein, Biotinylated, Recombinant

Description :
The mus musculus or mouse IGHG (immunoglobulin heavy constant gamma) gene encodes the Immunoglobulin (Ig) heavy chain gamma polypeptide or Ig gamma-2A chain C region, A allele. The C region contains 3 Ig-like domains including the CH1, hinge, CH2 and CH3 domains. The hinge, CH2 and CH3 region is also commonly referred to as the Fc region. Fc meditates the interactions with the complement components and Fc-gamma receptors (FCGRs) to induce innate immune responses such as antibody-dependent complement activation and phagocytosis, respectively. The mouse Fc control protein is expressed as a recombinant protein that include the hinge , CH2 and CH3 domains of mouse Ig gamma-2a chain C region (which can be used for making mouse Fc-fusion proteins). The purified protein can be used as a negative control for mouse Fc-fusion proteins in a variety of biological assays.
