Name :
Human CD30L/CD153/TNFSF8 Protein, ECD (Extracellular Domain), Fc-fusion, Biotinylated, Recombinant

Description :
CD30L (CD30 ligand), also known as TNFSF8 and CD153, is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily (TNFSF). CD30L/CD153 is a single-pass type II transmebrane glycoprotein consisting of a 37 amino acid (aa) cytoplasmic domain, a 25-aa transmembrane domain (TM) and a 172 aa extracellular domain (ECD). This cytokine is a ligand for TNFRSF8/CD30, which is a cell surface antigen and a marker for Hodgkin lymphoma and related hematologic malignancies. The engagement of CD30L expressed on B cell surface plays an inhibitory role in modulating Ig class switch. CD30L induces proliferation of T-cells. It enhances cell proliferation of some lymphoma cell lines, while to induce cell death and reduce cell proliferation of other lymphoma cell lines. The pleiotropic biologic activities of CD30L on different CD30+ lymphoma cell lines may play a pathophysiologic role in Hodgkin’s and some non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas.
